Duke nukem forever walkthrough part 112/30/2023 ![]() Duke navigates the Lady Killer Casino, wrecking pots, eventually starting The Lady Killer: Part 2. He soon finds the Kid, who lets Duke drive his RC car. Cheese Hat: Get 250 kills with the Ripper (Swiss Cheese III). Canadian Flag Logo: Get 75 kills with the Garter Pistol (Tiny But Deadly III). Brain Sucker: Get 250 kills with the Enforcer (Laser Seeking Missiles III). After stepping out of the elevator from the end of Mothership Battle, Duke is shrunk down to mini size. Baseball Cap: Get 75 kills with pipe bombs (Splatter King III). The DLC contains a very similar battle plan to it. The Lady Killer is the fifth chapter of Duke Nukem Forever. Aside from that, there are collectibles, and some objects you interact with will boost your ego or your total health. We'll be taking the opportunity to run through the whole game whilst preserving a golden pistol you obtain early on, which will prevent you from worrying about it when you need two proper weapons. Duke Nukem Forever is a linear game, but full of surprises which I hope I can help you to discover. You are required to play through the game on the hardest difficulty, though this is only unlocked after beating the game on Normal or above. 1 2 This guide will help you in solving the more tricky puzzles, finding all the power-ups for Duke and unlocking every achievement. Duke Nukem Forever took about 12 years to develop, and it seems like 11.5 of those years were totally useless. That said, I hope this walkthrough helps you complete the game if you've been unfortunate enough to start it, and I hope you can remove this blemish of a game from your backlog as a result. In order to get out, you need to collect all the blue barrels and throw them into the red container which you will be able to climb to the scaffolding. I'm not trying to say this in a joking manner I've played lots of bad games, and this one is so egregiously poor that it makes me feel bad just thinking about it. The Duke Dome You will reach a square with a few containers, but without any escape route. I want to tell you now that this game is one of the most outright offensive I've ever played, and I would not recommend this game to any individual, ever. Duke passes out after the battle and is taken somewhere wonderful.Welcome to the walkthrough for Duke Nukem Forever. Once she collapses, approach and go through the button sequence. Kill them quickly and return your focus to the Alien Queen. Duke Nukem Costume: DIY Cosplay Guide Have you come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, but your all out of bubblegum. Once she is below half life, she'll send out some Octobrains to harass you as well. Duke Nukem Costume Guide - GO GO COSPLAY. She'll be chucking Pregnators at you all throughout the battle so keep a close range weapon ready for this. You can still bounce the pipe bombs at her but they're trickier to pull off. ![]() ![]() After that first time, she'll start to occasionally give you an opening. This will stun her and let you shoot her. Now throw a pipe bomb at the bounce flower you see above the ammo restock. After a short walk through the tentacles and exploding puffballs you will return to the main cave (but upper), where you will meet more Octabrains. ![]() From now on keep looking after such cocoons - each can be hit up to 3 times. Hit them a couple times to get guns, ammo or explosives. Troubled dev cycle and endless graveyard of discarded ideas aside, Duke Nukem Forever is actually a pretty lengthy adventure. ![]() Also, grab the RPG, you're going to need it. The Hive You will come across webbed corpses. You'll find an ammo and explosives restock inside the room. Inside you'll find the very big alien queen. Head on up the stairs on the far side of the room and open the double doors. Explode it on the other side to open the door up. The door out is locked but to the left of the door is an opening you can throw a pipe bomb through. Duke Nukem Forever Walkthrough Part 13 – The Queen B*tch You'll find yourself in a weight room. ![]()

Gameboy macro blinking12/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Equipped with enough understanding of the IR communications, I could then start writing code with an idea of what to expect from the Gameboy. The modulation will get a bit tricky later in the development process since there doesn’t seem to be an easy, in-built way for the Gameboy to switch the IR LED at 36,500 times per second.Īfter capturing the signals of different temperature and mode configurations, some patterns can be discerned, and I could reliably generate and transmit IR commands to my A/C via a relatively modern microcontroller. The captures showed that the signal was modulated (toggled on and off rapidly) at 36.5kHz, which deviates from the more common 38kHz. There are less invasive techniques, though this particular process records extremely clean signals. To understand the packet layout, I drilled a small hole and soldered a thin wire onto the original transmitter to capture the signal. Most brands have their own implementation, however the company which built my A/C, “National”, did not appear to exist anymore, and the internet has little to say about their products. To control the A/C, the Gameboy essentially has to “blink” its infrared (IR) LED in a very specific pattern, just like the original IR remote. The target A/C transmitter in both visible-light and IR to reveal its internals. They even have a page on identifying cartridge models to make flashing them easier. I used InsideGadget’s gbxcart-rw as it was available at about US$30, well documented and easy to use. To write into the cartridges, a programming card is required. As a nice bonus, the sticker on the bootleg cartridge can be replaced after the cartridge is reprogrammed, and it really feels as though I have built a new game cartridge in 2020. However many bootleg cartridges do not have this limitation and can be freely rewritten. Normally, official game cartridges can only be programmed once. Re-programmable game cartridgesĭevelopers in the past used to have specialized hardware to emulate game cartridges, however I found that it was more affordable (~US$4) to reprogram modern bootleg game cartridges. This red game cartridge originally contained Pokemon Red. Starting from scratch, I needed to get additional hardware to build and run code on the actual Gameboy. Apparently a ‘Mission Impossible’ game could record and replay infrared signals, thus validating that the technical bits were possible. The IR transmitter piqued my interest - I immediately thought of building an air-conditioner remote with the GBC, and searched if anything like that existed. The infrared transceiver on the top-left corner of the Gameboy A set of infrared diodes to transmit and receive. An option to run at twice the processor speed. The Gameboy Color (GBC) differentiates itself from its earlier generations with some new features: Apart from its intended gameplay features, I also wanted to try and build something meaningful with it, so I made this application to control my air-conditioner over its existing, reverse-engineered infrared protocol. Last year, I was lucky enough to be gifted a Gameboy Color in great shape. I programmed this Gameboy (cartridge) to control my air-conditioner! Please note: some GIF images will flash briefly. Andy goldsworthy circles12/30/2023 ![]() ![]() This sculpture is more of a ‘window’, and Goldsworthy’s decision to frame this space makes it significant. The circles in Goldsworthy’s works are usually solid forms, a different color or texture on another. ![]() The piece interacts with its location through its material, found on site, Goldsworthy’s actions of making it, and in the space it takes up and the space it creates. In Woven branch circular arch from April 1986, Goldsworthy created a circle of negative space at the center of the woven branch arch. In taking his materials from the earth and allowing the earth to take them back, Goldsworthy’s sculptures reflect natural phenomena of creation, death, and the beauty in their many forms. The season and weather conditions determine to a large extent what I make.” (The Henry Moore Centre) His concern for time creates tension in his works, as the general audience sees only photographs taken before the pieces succumb to wind, tide, and other natural forces. I take nothing out with me in the way of tools, glue or rope, preferring to explore the natural bonds and tensions that exist within the earth. In a statement for Rain sun snow hail mist calm, Goldsworthy said “I want an intimate physical involvement with the earth. His intent is to play with nature and natural forces. (Lubow) Many of his works cross into performance, as they happen only in the moment they are created and perhaps for a few hours afterwards. His work can be categorized as Earthworks, though, they “…are conceived in a very different spirit from the bulldozing Land Art of the American West”. (Beyst) Recurring themes in his work are circles, spheres, cones, and winding, zigzagging lines. Twigs and thorns are used as tacks, clay and mud as glue. Leaves, moss, sticks, rocks, mud, and ice are examples of the materials he’s used, and no adhesives, bindings, or editing are used to make the sculptures appear as they do, unless they too are found on site. Goldsworthy’s sculptures are made on site, where the materials are collected. ![]()

![]() This study was carried out at Dental institute, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. Isolated zygomatic bone fracture with minimal displacement can be managed with closed reduction without fixation ( 3). Various treatment plan has been modulated for zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture depending on the degree of displacement of the zygomatic bone which ranges from simple conservative management to open reduction and multiple point of exposure and fixation ( 3). Radiological evaluation such as computerized tomography scan with reconstruction, occipitomental view, submentovertex view clearly detects the fracture and its displacement. Epidemiology of maxillofacial fracture varies between populations, particularly with regard to the incidence, demographic distribution of the fractures, aetiology and types vary due to environmental, socioeconomic, cultural and lifestyle differences ( 2). These fracture are the second most fracture of the face after nasal injuries ( 1). Zygomatic fracture is traditionally referred as “tripod” but actually it involves disruption at four sites depending on the impact and severity: lateral orbital rim, inferior orbital rim, zygomaticomaxillary buttress and the zygomatic arch. Fracture pattern ranges from simple to comminuted and from minimally to severely displaced depending on the nature and impact of the injury. Moderate to severly displaced zygomatic fracture can significantly alter the structure, function, and appearance of midface. Zygomatic fracture is one of the most common and frequent among the maxillofacial trauma, due to its prominence which predisposes it to bear the brunt of facial injuries. Zygoma is a strong buttress of the lateral portion of middle third of facial skeleton and it significantly contribute to the strength and stability of mid face. ![]()

Lesson 23 base angles of isosceles triangles12/29/2023 ![]() In the figure, ABCDE is a pentagon with all sides of the same length and all angles of the same size. Draw perpendiculars of equal lengths upward at one end of the line and downwards at the other end. (iii) Draw a line segment of length 5.5 cm. ∴ The third angle of ∆APM and ∆BMQ and opposite sides of equal angles are equal. ∠A = ∠B (alternate angles formed by cutting the parallel lines AP and QB by PQ and AB.) Using a set square, locate the midpoint of this line. (ii) What is special about the position of M on AB. (i) Are the sides of ∆AMP equal to the sides of ∆BMQ? Why? The point of inter section of PQ and AB is marked as M. In the figure, AP and BQ equal and parallel are lines drawn at the ends of the line AB. ∠M = ∠Z(Sides opposite to equal angles are also equal) The sides AC and PR opposite to the 70° angle are also equal. Also BC and PQ, opposite to the 50° angle are also equal. So the third angles of the triangles ∠C and ∠R are also equal. In each pair of triangles below, find matching pairs of sides and write their names.ĪC = PR (The two angles and the side in between them in ∆ ABC are equal to the two angles and the side in between them in ∆PQR. ![]() (i) The angles of ∆AMD, ∆MBC and ∆DCM are 40°, 60° and 80° respectively. ∴ ∠AMD = ∠CDM (Alternate interior angles) Given AB = 12 cm and M is the mid-point of AB. (ii) What is special about the quadrilateral AMCD and MBCD? (i) Compute the angle of ∆AMD, ∆MBC and ∆DCM? In the figure below, the lines AB and CD are parallel and M is the mid point of AB. So the third side and other angles are equal. ∴ The two sides in ∆AMC and ∆BMC and the angle made by them are equal. In the figure below, M is the midpoint of the line AB. So the opposite angles in quadrilateral ACBD are also equal. The angles opposite to equal sides of triangles ∆ABC and ∆ABD are equal. The opposite sides of quadrilateral ∆CBD are equal. The angles between the sides AC, AB and BD, AB are equal. Is ABCD in the figure, a parallelo¬gram? Why? ∠ABC = ∠BDE (The angles opposite to the equal sides of equal triangles are equal) But they are corresponding angles. So the thirif side of triangle are also equal.) When we consider the triangles ∆CAB, ∆EBD (Corresponding angles)īC = DE (The two sides of ∆ CAB and the angle made by them are equal to the two sides of ∆ EBD and the angle made by them. In the figure below, AC and BE are parallel lines. ∠N = ∠X (If two sides of a triangle are equal, the angles opposite to these sides are also equal) (ii) MN = XY (If two sides of triangle and the angle made by then are equal to two sides of another triangle and the angle made by them, then the third sides of the triangle are also equal) ∴ ∠A = ∠Q (The opposite angles of equal sides of two triangles are also equal) (i) BC = PR (If two sides of a triangle and the angle made by them are equal to two sides of another triangle and the angle made by them, then the third sides of the triangle are also equal.) In each pair of triangles below find the pairs of matching angles and write them down. ∴ ∠BAC = ∠DAC = 30° (Angles opposite to equal sides are equal in a triangle ) ∴ ∠ACD = ∠ACB = 50° (Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal) The sides of the triangles ABC and ADC are equal. In the quadrilateral ABCD shown below, AB = AD, BC = CDĬompute all the angles of the quadrilateral?
